Now, the speeds on this picture wouldn’t be something to gawk at had you been living in the United States, but for a random torrent with peers under 10, 200k/sec in under a minute is probably something we’ll never hope to attain in a lifetime of free torrent trackers.

Enter the membership torrent sites.

These sites aren’t new, nor are they hard to find. However, the beauty of such sites is the controlled, and enforced, sharing ratios. This means that you, the leecher fag, will probably get slammed with torrent speeds that will put a strain on your teensy little interweb tube.

The downside though, is that you, if you plan on staying a member for long, must do your part in the sharing process as well. So if you plan on getting involved, in say, high def movies, then you’re going to need to parlay whatever it is you get or have to bring your ratios up.

Its not as impulsive as the free trackers, but it makes sure old torrents are kept alive with seeders waiting to fulfill their ratio requirements so they can finally get their 4gb’s back.

Pro tip: Download and seed new torrents — they will have new peers everyday and you’ll regain your ratio pretty quick.
